2016-05-26: Below 100 Training in Stafford
"Below 100" training is underway this morning in Stafford. Every 54 hours, a law enforcement officer is killed in America... approximately 150 per year. The leading cause of death for more than 10 years? Traffic crashes. The "Below 100" initiative aims to reduce the number of line of duty deaths to below 100, a number not seen since 1943. How do we achieve this? Wear your belt. Wear your vest. Watch your speed. Support a culture of safety in your department.
